My neice wanted this doll for months. I got it for her 10th birthday and she was overjoyed. After a few hours, she ran up to me and said the doll's head fell off. Clumps of the doll's hair were scattered on the floor, and her jacket had a huge hole in it. I HATED this toy!!!!

This is exactly like a Barbie doll. The only difference is that it has Hannah Montana clothes. I would suggest using a former doll with Hannah Montana Clothes, or make your own. ;)

Hannah Doll Breaking

I had the same problem with the dolls head breaking off... My daughter was devistated but I did my research and founf that the doll was made by Play Along Toys so I called them to tell them of my problem.. I am sending them the doll back and They are sending me a new doll for my daughter ... I told them she didn't have her clothing on and I wasn't sure what she came with and they stated to just return the doll...if you have this same problem call Play Along Toys @ 954-596-2210... some of us paid a bit of $$ for the dolls and I refuse to do nothing about it ..My daughter plays daily with these dolls and I'm hoping the other ones she has don't do the same but if they do I will be calling Play Along Toys to get new dolls...

My 6 year old received this for Christmas from her grandmother and was so excited. That didn't last long.
Dad had to rip the box to shreds to get her out of the packaging. Then, after about 30 minutes of play and one change of clothes, Hannah's head broke off!! Having played with Barbies herself and having 3 girls, Mom assumed that you can just pop it back on - Nope, not for Hannah. She is officially permanently broken. And, since this was a gift and the box is trashed, we can't return it!

Hannah's plastic is much more rigid than a Barbie, and the neck/head connection is much more fragile. Do not buy this doll if your child PLAYS with her dolls - it will break.
(I will note that my girls ages 6, 3 & 2, play with 20-year-old Barbies with no problems.)

Does anyone know who makes this doll (besides being Made in China) so I can call to complain?
