With a wind-resistant design, a precise, jersey-like fit, and Italian, handmade construction, the Kines jacket blends Santini's rich cycling heritage with contemporary technology. To make the Kines jacket a suitable protector from the elements, Santini constructed it from the wind-resistant, TK fabric. This material has a great deal of stretch, and it's also lightweight, breathable, and highly conforming to the body. Weighing in closer to a jersey than outerwear, the Kines is designed on more of the airy end of the spectrum, with Santini recommending it for temperatures varying from the low 50s to around 70 degrees Fahrenheit. This heat tolerance is supported by a few key features. Of course, at the front of the jacket, there's a full-length zipper that's indispensable for dumping heat on-the-fly.
